How to install an indicator in MT4 or MT5

1. Open the data folder

File → Open Data Folder.

2. Copy the file

• MetaTrader 5: MQL5 → Indicators (.ex5 file)
• MetaTrader 4: MQL4 → Indicators (.ex4 file)

3. Refresh and attach

In the Navigator, right-click Indicators → Refresh, then drag the indicator onto your chart and adjust its inputs.
